What happens once you have booked your photoshoot

At the point of booking your session we will work together to come up with a brief about what you would like to get out of the shoot. We will then meet at the agreed location. When arriving at the photoshoot I will spend some time bonding with your dog gaining their trust, and have some fun getting to know their character.  After this and only when you and your dog feel comfortable we will then assess which photo’s to take first based on how your dog is feeling on the day. I have different lenses we can use for the shoot, depending on how comfortable your dog is with me being close to them. Your dog does not need to be good at recall or well trained. I can edit leads and collars out of the images if needed.

Then we will take a walk around the location, stopping at different points to capture those all important magical moments. Length of the walk is completely up to you and your dog. During the session I will take hundreds of images. The session will last 1-2 hours to get the perfect images, as sometimes it can take a little while for dogs to relax into themselves and show me their true character which is what you know and love about them.

The main aim of the shoot is to ensure you and your dog have a great time and we want to capture that within the images.

The images will then be edited by myself and a reveal and design appointment will be arranged. This will be a virtual or face to face appointment. At this point I will help you select the perfect set of images, and we can work together to create that WOW artwork you are looking for.
